Chicken Burgers

I absolutely love burgers. Big juicy burgers with all the right toppings have a special place in my heart. I must admit though that I am a bit of a burger snob. The burger needs to be both flavorful and juicy, the topping need to hit all the right spots and the bun has got to be homemade. It is much easier than you think. I am going to link my favorite recipe that I just form into buns instead of loaves and voila we have home made buns.

Ingredients
  

For the patties:

  • 2 pounds Ground chicken
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 3 Bread slices
  • 1/2 cup Parsley finely chopped
  • Salt
  • Red pepper crushed
  • 1 Green chili finely chopped
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese shredded

For the sauce:

  • 3/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Chili Garlic sauce heaped
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Pickled Jalapenos finely chopped
  • 5 Pickled Cucumbers finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Aioli
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar

For the toppings:

  • Lettuce shredded
  • Purple Cabbage shredded
  • Cheese
  • Avocados sliced
  • Tomatoes sliced
  • Onion sliced

Instructions
 

For the sauce:

  • Mix well and set aside
  • Mix all of the ingredients together and let it sit for a few minutes
  • Form patties and shallow fry them till they are cooked
  • Now cut your bun in half
  • Add the sauce to the bun
  • Now place your patty on it
  • Add a little more sauce, avocado, lettuce, onions and tomatoes
  • On this you will add your cheese cover your bun with the other half
  • After applying the sauce to it.
