Ingredients
  

  • 4 Onions thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1/4 tbsp Salt or to taste
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil or butter

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan heat olive oil and add onions. Sautee till translucent. Now add the brown sugar and cook for about 15 minutes. When the onions have a sweet fragrance and are brown, soft, wilted and cooked down to about 50% of the original volume add the balsamic and cook it down a little more. Store in the refrigerator.
