Zeera Cookies

Chef Sammy
One of the things that I love having while visiting Karachi is the Zeera Cookies or Zeera biscuits as it is referred to over there with a steaming cup of doodh patti (milk tea) Tea time there always leaves me feeling like I'm in an Alice in Wonderland type setting. The cakes, sandwiches, pakoras, tea etc. Every time I visit and it's tea time, my heart soars. I love the way its served. The trolleys of food, the delicate china its served on, the tea cups. I love EVERYTHING about tea time especially the zeera cookies! I knew I just had to recreate that feeling here. I truly feel like these zeera cookies are spot on. Do try them with a hot cup of tea and let me know if you're as enamored with them as I am.
