Beef Vindaloo Instant Pot Recipe constitutes a spicy and flavorful dish that hails from the Indian state of Goa. Beef Vindaloo Instant Pot Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 Ibs Beef for stew
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 8-10 cloves Garlic
- 2 Onions chopped
- 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
- 2 Tomatoes chopped
- 1/4 cup Vinegar
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Garam Masala
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chili powder
- Cayenne pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tbsp Cumin powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Honey
Instructions
- Heat oil in your instant pot on sauté mode. Add onions, garlic and ginger. Cover with glass lid and let it cook for 10 minutes or so u til it’s soft. Now add all the other spices and sauté for 5 min more. Add water and mix well. Using a hand blender purée the mixture till well blended. Now add the meat and coat well. You can let this marinate overnight for a more robust flavor. I just cooked it right away. Pressure cook u set high pressure for 15 minutes and then 10 minutes NPR. Stir and if its a little runny hit the sauté mode and leave it uncovered till it thickens. stirring occasionally. Garnish with coriander and serve with naan or steamed rice.
