Singaporean Rice

Singaporean Rice is a popular dish in Singaporean cuisine that is made from a mixture of rice and various spices and ingredients. It is also known as “Nasi Goreng” which is Malay for “fried rice” and it’s a staple food in Singapore and Malaysia. It’s widely available in hawker centres and food courts and can also be found in most restaurants.

Growing up Singaporean rice was not my favourite dish but now that I have made some changes to the typical way it is made, I have to say I LOVE IT! Growing up my mom would make this at dinner parties and everyone would always ooh and aah over how pretty it was. So now I not only think this dish is delicious, I also think it’s absolutely gorgeous. If you like Asian flavours in your food, you’re sure to love this recipe.
