Chappati or Roti is an essential part of any South Asian Household. Its eaten at almost every meal. It’s used with curries, Barbequed meats, and sometimes even with tea!
Chapati or Roti
- 2 cup Aata Chappati flour
- 1-1 1/4 cup Water
- 1/4 cup Oil
- Salt to taste
- In your mixer using your dough hook mix the above ingredients and let it knead the dough for you for about 5-6 minutes till it forms into a nice dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes. Make small rounds and flour your work surface and roll into rounds. Heat a flat skillet and add a little ghee and put your rolled out dough on it. It should puff up in a minute or so. Flip it and cook till done on the other side too.
