Kaju Katli is served on any and all of our special occasions. It has the perfect combination of sweet and nutty. It’s so easy to make that I am sure you’ll be making it for all the special occasions in your life too. Do share your thoughts with me if you make it. I’d love to hear from you.

Kaju Katli
Ingredients
- 2 cups cashews
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tsp ghee
- Warak
Instructions
- Soak the almonds in a bowl for 1.5-2 hours.
- Drain the cashews and put them into a blender
- Blend it till you get a smooth paste
- Now add the paste to a pan and add the sugar.
- Mix well till it separates from the sides
- Stir constantly for about 15-30 minutes
- Now add the ghee and mix well.
- Once cooled, roll out this dough in between 2 sheets of parchment paper
- Careful add your warak to the top
- Cut into triangles and enjoy.
Instructions are a bit unclear.
-What do you set the heat on when you put ingredients in pan and then for duration of mixing time (low, med, high?)
-When do you add the cardamom powder? No mention of it in instructions
-when it says to mix 15-30 mins, how do you know when it’s done and to stop or keep mixing and cooking? Are steps 5 and 6 flipped maybe?
Thanks in advance, I hope to make this!
Also it says soak the almonds however only cashews are in the ingredients. I’m assuming this is a typo
Nice and easy recipe
