Nutella Brownies

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons Nutella


  • In a glass bowl, melt the butter and add the sugar eggs and vanilla. Using a wooden spoon mix well but don’t over mix.
    Gradually fold in the dry ingredients.
    Pour into a prepared pan. I used a 6-inch square pan.
    Bake at 350 till done. It took me 20 minutes but please keep an eye on it as every oven is different.
    When done spread about a tablespoon of Nutella gently on it while it’s still hot. 
    Let it cool and cut it with a plastic knife.
