Hummus Ma Lahma (hummus with spiced meat)
- 1 cup Chick peas dry
- 3 cloves Garlic ( I like mine garlicky but you can adjust to your taste)
- 3-4 tbsp Lemon juice
- 3 tbsp Tahini
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tbsp Cumin
- 1-2 tbsp Hot water to help blend it
- 3 tbsp Pine nuts
- 1 Ib Ground Beef Lean
- 2 tbsp 7 spice seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp Cinnamon
- Put your dry beans in the instant pot with water and pressure cook for 25 minutes till softdrain but reserve 1/4 cup of fluidIn a food processor, blend garbanzo beans, garlic, lemon juice, tahini & salt.Slowly add hot water till you get a smooth consistency put hummus into serving platter
- In a pan on medium heat, dry toast the pine nuts until golden brown and set aside. Heat the olive oil and brown the ground beef with the seasonings. Add the pine nuts to the pan of ground beef and now arrange the ground beef over the hommus, garnish w parsley and drizzle w evoo. Serve w thin pita
